The Canadian War Museum is the national museum of Canada's Military History. It is located beside the Ottawa River. It features the experiences of the military during the past until the present stage.
Its collection is more on the past war tools and artifacts that lie on the hands of the military men in the history of Canada. This includes artillery and vehicles of the past wars. The human conflicts are presented through short stories, photographs, artifacts and interactive presentation. Aside from war tools, they also collected archeological specimens, aboriginal arts and artifacts, folk art, furniture, war art, military objects, glass, porcelain, textiles and much more.
The place serves as a research center open for the public readers. The museum also provides a formal lecture programs to teachers and other educators for them to share with their students.
Explore their permanent and special exhibitions. Gallery 1 is called the Battleground. It shows the war of the first people. Those people are the French, British and Canadian. Aside from Gallery 1, there are still a lot more which are connected to the war history of Canada.
